On August 30,2023 after Hurricane Idalia flew by there were a flock of Flamingos hanging out on the Sanibel Causeway! As flamingo are never seen in our area this became the talk of the town and photos of these flamingo were all over social media as well as the local news! This painting was inspired by a photo that Jennifer Spark posted and gave me permission to paint it.
